Our short summer break was made all the more enjoyable because of our stay at the Magnolia House. Open, airy, modern, and spotless, we felt right at "home" the minute we walked in the door. And the amenities were more than we could have imagined — a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of coffee and a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival; linens, towels, and spa-like soaps and shampoos; state-of-the-art washer and dryer; the list goes on. I'd like to pick up this place and drop it on my lot at home. The location is ideal too: A short walk or split-second drive into the heart of downtown Mystic; 8 minutes by car to local Big-Y grocery store; and all of 20 minutes to the great beach at Misquamicut, RI. The huge backyard became our go-to place for some late-afternoon family wiffleball fun! Ellen (our host) and Gretchen (the local caretaker) were more than helpful and responsive to any request. We're sure to book again when vacationing back in this area!

We stayed at the house for a month in April and it was fantastic. The moment we walked in we felt right at home. The house is spotless, sunny and bright. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space to unpack and put your things away. The living room is extremely comfortable and open to the kitchen which was perfect with my young children. We also really liked the fact that it was one story as this made it extremely easy with our 2 boys. My husband loving the little nook across from the kitchen - it was a perfect spot to sit and relax with his coffee. The backyard is huge - plenty of space to run around or just to sit outside and relax. The owners were extremely responsive and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and to help us familiarize ourselves with the area. We can’t wait to go back! This will definitely be a yearly tradition for our family.
This place is a beautiful, airy and bright house conveniently located near downtown Mystic. It's a quick drive or a doable walk (for most) to lots of restaurants and the water, and the house itself is comfortable and well equipped. There is a large open kitchen, comfortable dining area, and a great couch/sitting area with TV, in addition to plenty of open space. We managed to lock ourselves out of the house (word to the wise - the only lock with a key pad can be deadlocked from inside - don't lock yourself out!) and the manager came over to let us back in right away, which we SO appreciated since it was entirely our fault for locking ourselves out. Highly recommended!
This spot was perfect for our family, it’s a sparkling clean, modern beach house. Totally worth it, every amenity was included, even k-cups for the Keurig. Will return in the future.

This house was amazing to stay at! I had rented this house with some friends to go to a wedding nearby. The house was sparkling clean and the house was brand new and stylish. it's a short walk to downtown Mystic which was very helpful to drink and not drive! Highly recommend staying at this house, the manager was also very responsive and helpful!

The property manager was great! She responded to any questions we had very promptly. Upon arrival, the house was spotless!! There were fresh flowers on the counter and wine in the fridge!! The furnishings, appliances and amenities were top of the line! The location was perfect!!! We couldn't have asked for a better house. I hope to be back again next summer!!!
